Calvary STRONG: Weathering the start and building community
Calvary STRONG: Weathering the start and building community
I cannot believe we are already in February!
As we settle into Week 3 of Term 1, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the significant weather event we’ve experienced. Thank you for your patience, resilience, and teamwork as we navigated the challenges together. It’s in times like these that our strong community spirit truly shines.
A special welcome to our new families! What a start! My hope and prayer is that you are feeling safe and have begun to settle in to the Calvary way. Please reach out if you have any questions. Our College team and Student Services team are here to help.
I was excited this last week to attend the very first parent information evening for our proposed 2026 Europe Trip. Ms Mel Mammarella and Mrs Meg Collier have done an incredible job of putting together a magnificent itinerary. I cannot wait to see this unfold. If you have any queries about this trip, connect with the secondary office and they can give some guidance.
A gentle reminder for all families to drive carefully in the carpark, especially in wet weather, and to keep our Drop & Go zones flowing by not leaving vehicles unattended. Your cooperation helps ensure a safe and efficient process for everyone. The speed limit is 15km/hour and please remain within the traffic lanes.
I had the pleasure of visiting some of our Primary classrooms on Thursday last week, and it was inspiring to see students engaged in learning, our team building strong relationships, and a real demonstration of our Calvary Strong culture. Thank you to our dedicated team for your flexibility and commitment to ensuring all students feel safe, supported and encouraged.
As we move forward into the rest of the term, let’s continue to support and encourage one another with the same strength and unity that defines our Calvary community. Remember the words of Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
May we walk in His strength, showing grace, patience, and kindness in all we do.
Many Blessings
