Curriculum

At Calvary Christian College, Year 7 is designed as an exploratory year, and introduces all students to the learning opportunities provided in the Secondary College. Year 7 students will participate in core, school-based and exploratory subjects. Students in Year 7 do not choose these subjects, rather they are placed in four groups and they rotate through the subjects each term.  They will each have the opportunity to trial two exploratory subjects each term which will equate to a total of eight each year.  This allows students to develop an understanding of their natural interests and abilities in the subjects offered in Year 8 and beyond.
