House Family
At Calvary Christian College we love to celebrate achievements and encourage the best in our students. Our aim is to give each child a sense of belonging, of being significant contributors to the life of the College, which is why each child is appointed to a house family – Ezra, Daniel or Joshua. Each year we aim to build the spirit of these houses where traditions are set, goals are achieved and each team member is valued and appreciated.
We provide many opportunities at Calvary Christian College for students to participate and excel in the sporting arena. The Inter-house carnivals are a healthy competition for those students that like to be challenged. This is played out in a fun and supportive atmosphere created by those students who like to dress up, encourage and cheer on others – all in the nature of good fun and supporting your house.
House Families are celebrated throughout the week, with both Primary and Secondary students wearing their House Family shirts on Fridays. House Family Connect is also held several times throughout the year for Primary and Secondary, during which our House Leaders gather their House Families in fellowship to strengthen bonds, encourage participations and build team spirit among their Houses.
